Financial Stability

Substantial focus must be placed on the Party’s finances. Sound financial management is needed to effectively and efficiently support our organization programme on the ground.

• I will leverage the goodwill I have built in the business community through a career as one of Jamaica’s leading corporate lawyers and one of the country’s pioneering investment bankers, to assist in strengthening the Party’s finances.

To enhance this process,

• We must resume having our accounts audited on an annual basis and publishing them to show transparency and accountability as a modern democratic organization, which had started when I was Party Treasurer under the Most Hon. Portia Simpson-Miller.
